Volleyball Recap: Tussey Mountain Comes Up Short at Home Against Southern Fulton + How To Watch

Tussey Mountain unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Southern Fulton Indians on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Tussey Mountain started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-12.

Leading Southern Fulton to victory were Kennedy Hixon and Lakyin Hixson. Hixon had 32 assists, while Hixson had six digs and four aces.

The victory got Southern Fulton back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Tussey Mountain is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Moshannon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Fulton, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Rockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
