Volleyball Recap: Necedah Comes Up Short

Necedah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Bangor, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bangor this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Necedah was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bangor's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Necedah still got an impressive performance from Player #4, who had 12 digs.

Necedah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Bangor, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-16.

Coincidentally, Necedah and Bangor will both be playing New Lisbon the next time they take the court. Bangor will host New Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Necedah will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
