It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mission Valley can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 57-56 to the Valley Falls Dragons. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valley Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Kearney, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenten VanHoutan, who posted 17 points and six boards.

Mission Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Valley Falls, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Mission Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley Falls, they will face off against Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Valley Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
