Baseball Recap: Lakewood Park Christian Gets the Win

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Lakewood Park Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past the Fort Wayne North Side Legends 21-1 on Saturday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Legends recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ethan Young and Kolten Kirtley made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Young struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Kirtley tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave Young a new career-high. At bat, Young scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Kirtley scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Young also put up three RBI, which were his first of the season.
