Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Centennial

The Heritage Coyotes will face off against the Centennial Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Heritage will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against Lebanon Trail on Tuesday. The Coyotes came out on top against the Trail Blazers by a score of 4-2. Heritage haven't had any issues with Lebanon Trail recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Heritage hit Lebanon Trail with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bennett Kerr (2), Hayden Gibb, and Nolan Fitzgerald.

Meanwhile, Centennial has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 22. They came up short against Emerson on Tuesday, falling 5-0. Considering the last time Centennial couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-3.

Heritage suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Centennial in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
