Volleyball Game Preview: Pioneer Patriots vs. Rodriguez Mustangs

The Pioneer Patriots will face off against the Rodriguez Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pioneer lost 3-0 to Vacaville Christian on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez came up short against Vanden on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rodriguez was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-22.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Rodriguez, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
