Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kellogg). Everything went their way against the Coeur du Christ Academy Saints on Wednesday as the Kellogg Wildcats made off with an 80-54 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-55 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Coeur du Christ Academy lost, don't look at Ben Connelly. Despite the final result, he went 12-for-25 on his way to 35 points and four steals. The matchup was Connelly's 17th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Grant Clemens, who posted eight points along with six assists and four steals.

Kellogg's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Coeur du Christ Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Kellogg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-43 win against St. Maries on the 24th. As for Coeur du Christ Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 84-39 victory against Kootenai on the 27th.
