Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Liberty Lions on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Brie Young and A'Vielle Lewis, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Aniya Gallion and her 14 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Liberty, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will square off against Patterson Mill on Tuesday. Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
