Baseball Recap: Aletheia Christian Academy Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Aletheia Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Pine Forest Eagles by a score of 7-2.

Noah Wheeler and Darius Dunmiles made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Wheeler pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Dunmiles struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits Wheeler has allowed since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Wheeler scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Dunmiles went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Wheeler also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Brady Carlson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Josiah Thurmond was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Aletheia Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
