Basketball Game Preview: Rosa Fort Lions vs. Holly Springs Hawks

The Rosa Fort Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Holly Springs Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Rosa Fort lost to Horn Lake on the road by a 93-76 margin. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Holly Springs played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of Biggersville. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-10.

Holly Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Rosa Fort, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
