The Senn Bulldogs will face off against the Rickover Naval Seadragons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Senn's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Rickover Naval has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
On Wednesday, Senn got the win against Prosser by a conclusive 17-8. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Audrey Lebovitz made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Lebovitz was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Deja Boatman, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Nash, who scored two runs and stole six bases while going 2-for-3.
Senn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .548. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Rickover Naval narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mather 8-7.
Like Senn, Rickover Naval also got a great game from a two-way player: Samantha Booth. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Booth was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
In other batting news, Soli Correa was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Soleil Gonzales was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Rickover Naval has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Senn, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
Both Senn and Rickover Naval just can't seem to miss. The Bulldogs have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like Rickover Naval struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Senn took their win against Rickover Naval in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 21-4 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Seadragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
