Christian Duran Delivers Electric Performance Vs Anson

Christian Duran's big game helped extend Stamford's winning streak to seven on Friday. Duran did his part (and then some), rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 201 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes for the 'W'.

Anson had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Duran it was a similar story. When Duran last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 202 yards on only 16 passes.

Kaston Vega was instrumental in extending Stamford's winning streak to seven on Friday. Vega was unstoppable, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

On the season, Vega has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 114.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Ables must have Olney's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Ables threw for 233 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt the last time he and the Cubs duked it out back in October of 2023.
