Basketball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Shelton lost against Capital back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Shelton Highclimbers took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital Cougars. The matchup marked the Highclimbers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Shelton dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Capital, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Shelton will face off against Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Capital, they will take on Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
