Conestoga Valley extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They breezed past the Elizabethtown Bears to the tune of 42-7. Fans of the Buckskins have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Conestoga Valley had a senior duo take command as Sawyer Esbenshade threw for 242 yards and three TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes and Teagan Ruble gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns. Esbenshade is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Conestoga Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Camryn Bair and Cordell Bair.

As for Elizabethtown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Elizabethtown still got an impressive performance from Prince Wratto, who rushed for 78 yards and three scores.

Conestoga Valley has already played their next game, a 21-17 victory against Exeter Township on the 17th. As for Elizabethtown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-16 win against Governor Mifflin on the 17th.
