They fell just short of the Linfield Christian Lions by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Linfield Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Thursday.

Gilbert Christian now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Linfield Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gilbert Christian will square off against Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Linfield Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Rancho Cucamonga at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
