Softball Game Preview: Central Bobcats vs. Metro Tech Knights

The Central Bobcats will square off against the Metro Tech Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Central lost 16-4 to Fairfax on Thursday.

Arelii Cordero Bustillos made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Wiggins, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Carl Hayden Community, falling 14-3.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
