Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Valley Christian entered their tilt with Florence on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gophers. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Valley Christian was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-8.

Sadie Wahlin paced Valley Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wahlin got some help from Ansley Venkatesh and her 25 assists. Venkatesh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Florence, they moved to 22-10 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Valley Christian and Florence will both be playing Seton Catholic the next time they take the court. The Gophers will host the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
