Basketball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

Garden City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Crestwood Chargers, falling 59-17. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 644th, while the Chargers are ranked 226th).

Garden City's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Crestwood, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garden City will take on Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestwood, they will challenge Annapolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
