Soccer Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Maranatha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Agnes Aggies. Maranatha Christian Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Agnes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Maranatha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for St. Agnes, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian Academy will head out to square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for St. Agnes, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Mounds Park Academy at 1:00 p.m.
