Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Washington was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Milwaukee King Generals 68-21. The Purgolders lost against the Generals in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 57-34 score last time.

Washington dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Milwaukee King, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.

Washington will welcome Milwaukee School of Languages at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee School of Languages will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Milwaukee King, they will venture away from home to square off against Hamilton/Audubon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee King has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
