Softball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Parsons Christian Academy Lions

The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors will challenge the Parsons Christian Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Trinity Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Parsons Christian Academy has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Trinity Christian Academy will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against St. Johns Country Day on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 13-4 margin over St. Johns Country Day. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Madelyn Lasater made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
