Basketball Recap: Gardiner Comes Up Short

Gardiner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The game between them and the Twin Bridges Falcons didn't end well, with the Gardiner Bruins falling 62-46. The Bruins lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 79-34 score last time.

Gardiner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Twin Bridges, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing White Sulphur Springs the next time they take the court. Twin Bridges will host White Sulphur Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Gardiner will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
