There's no place like home for King's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pinewood Panthers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

While King's Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 28-26.

King's Academy found their leader in freshman Shuwen Jin, who had ten digs and two aces.

King's Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinewood only served four.

King's Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. As for Pinewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, King's Academy will face off against MacDonald at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinewood, they will square off against Eastside College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
