Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lafayette walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fort White Indians on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won seven in a row.

Lafayette was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-18, 25-17.

Sophia Kendrick paced Lafayette's offense, picking up ten kills. Kendrick got some help from Havyn Richardson and her 15 assists. Richardson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Fort White, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12.

Lafayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Union County on the 14th. Fort White does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
