Baseball Game Preview: Sierra Canyon Trailblazers vs. Chaminade Eagles

For the second straight game, Sierra Canyon will face off against Chaminade. The Trailblazers will take on the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sierra Canyon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Chaminade's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Sierra Canyon didn't have quite enough to beat Chaminade and fell 3-2.

For Chaminade's part, Jackson Schroeder tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryder Gullage, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Dizon-Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Sierra Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Chaminade, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
