Baseball Recap: Susquenita Has No Trouble Against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy

Susquenita won against Greenwood on Wednesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Blackhawks blew past the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Justin Reidlinger was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Galen Wenrich, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Susquenita hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

Susquenita's record is now 7-2. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Susquenita will head out to take on Hanover at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they will face off against Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
