Rich came tearing into Friday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 56-41 win over the Manila Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-53 back in December of 2024.

Rich's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ridge Lundgren, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. Lundgren is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Hoffman, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Rich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Manila's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Lail, who posted nine points. What's more, Lail also posted a 50% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024. Wyatt Muir was another key player, putting up ten points.

Rich pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Manila, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

Rich has already played their next matchup, a 58-47 victory against Tabiona on the 8th. As for Manila, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-39 win against Altamont on the 8th.
