Baseball Game Preview: Ripon Tigers vs. Winneconne Wolves

The Ripon Tigers will head out to take on the Winneconne Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Ripon didn't have quite enough to beat Central Wisconsin Christian and fell 7-6.

Braden Dudzinski made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Winneconne, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Xavier 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Bouras was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Dallas Walker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Winneconne, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Ripon came out on top in a nail-biter against Winneconne in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
