Football Game Preview: Sutton/Douglas vs. St. Bernard's Central Catholic

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Bernard's Central Catholic. On Friday they take on Sutton/Douglas at 7:00 PM. Neither St. Bernard's Central Catholic nor Sutton/Douglas could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.

After some red-hot point totals in their last 4 games, St. Bernard's Central Catholic fizzled out last Saturday. St. Bernard's Central Catholic didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 8-14 to Nipmuc Regional. The low total for St. Bernard's Central Catholic limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Sutton/Douglas, and their matchup last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They fell to Holy Name Central Catholic 0-7.
