Basketball Recap: Pioneer Charter School of Science Takes a Loss

Pioneer Charter School of Science lost against Prospect Hill Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers were outmatched by Prospect Hill Academy and fell 64-19. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Prospect Hill Academy are ranked 61st).

Jordan St Germain was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds for Prospect Hill Academy. St Germain's afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 26 points.

Pioneer Charter School of Science's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Prospect Hill Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Pioneer Charter School of Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prospect Hill Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lawrence at 4:30 p.m. on February 18th.
