Corinth Christian Academy had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 5-7 to make it five. They came up short against the First Christian Lions, falling 17-6. In other batting news, First Christian got a massive performance out of Roniyah Bennett, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave Bennett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Corie Wheeler, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
