Rockridge had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Macomb Bombers. This was payback for the Rockets, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rockridge's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-12. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Macomb, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-14.

As of now, neither Rockridge nor the Bombers have any future games scheduled.
