Volleyball Recap: Sidney Red Raiders vs. Scottsbluff Bearcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sidney had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Scottsbluff Bearcats. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-27, 25-20.
Reagan Nesbitt paced Sidney's offense, picking up nine kills. Nesbitt got some help from
Taylor Sprenger and her 15 assists.
Sidney now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Scottsbluff, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-19.
Sidney has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Gering on the 30th. Scottsbluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
