Basketball Recap: Singer Comes Up Short

Singer and Calvin squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Singer had to settle for second. They came up short against the Calvin Cougars, falling 56-34. The Hornets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Singer's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Calvin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

Singer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calvin, they will square off against Summerfield on Thursday. Summerfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Calvin surely won't give up without a fight.
