Baseball Recap: Providence Grove Patriots vs. Waccamaw Warriors

Providence Grove won against Robert C. Byrd last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Providence Grove Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Waccamaw Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Providence Grove.

Trevor Kirkman looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also only allowed one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
