Basketball Recap: Sacopee Valley Comes Up Short

Sacopee Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. The game between them and the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls didn't end well, with the Sacopee Valley Hawks falling 45-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-30 back in December of 2024.

Sacopee Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Old Orchard Beach, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Sacopee Valley has already played their next match (against Dirigo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Old Orchard Beach will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Winthrop at 5:00 p.m. on January 28th.
