Soccer Game Preview: Pinecrest vs. Pine Forest

The Pinecrest Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Pine Forest Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pine Forest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinecrest, who comes in off a win.

Pinecrest is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Overhills 9-0 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for Pinecrest in their matchups with Overhills: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hoke County.

The win got Pinecrest back to even at 3-3-1. As for Pine Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2.

Everything went Pinecrest's way against Pine Forest in their previous meeting back in August of 2017, as Pinecrest made off with a 6-3 victory. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
