Moffat had won two straight games and Preston Heater did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Moffat Cowboys came out on top against the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers by a score of 43-36 thanks in part to Heater, who posted 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Moffat's points.

The win got Moffat back to even at 9-9. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Coming up, Moffat will be playing at home against Aguilar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they will take on Creede at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
