Recap: Andrews Yellowjackets vs. Lee Central Stallions
The Andrews Yellowjackets can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 38-31 win over Lee Central. The score was all tied up 16-16 at the break, but Andrews was the better team in the second half.
Andrews' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vincent Rhue led the charge by scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Dayevon McNair, who scored four points along with two steals and two blocks.
Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Lee Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrews will stay at home for another game and welcome Marion at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Lee Central will take on Kingstree at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Kingstree is ranked 130th, while Lee Central is ranked 144th).
