Having just played yesterday, the La Canada Spartans will get right back to it and host the St. Francis Golden Knights at 7:30 p.m. La Canada will be strutting in after a victory while St. Francis will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, La Canada earned a 55-46 win over Flintridge Prep. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Wolves are ranked 460th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, St. Francis' good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They fell just short of Maranatha by a score of 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Golden Knights have suffered since January 6th.

La Canada pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points per game. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
