Football Recap: Kearns Cougars vs. Northridge Knights
Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Northridge Knights 62-13. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 49 points.
Northridge had a senior duo take command as Jaxon Fresques picked up 232 receiving yards and five touchdowns and Tre Nye threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes. Fresques' longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Rylen Rude got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Kearns will challenge Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Box Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
