Basketball Recap: Mumford Comes Up Short

Mumford easily dispatched Caldwell on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Mustangs fell just short of the Richards Panthers by a score of 40-38 on Friday.

Richards can attribute much of their success to HEATH GRAVES, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of OWEN PIERSALL, who posted ten points.

Mumford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Richards, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Mumford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-39 win against Rockdale on the 25th. As for Richards, they have also already played their next game, a 75-57 victory against Frassati Catholic on the 24th.
