Elkmont had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Pennington Tigers by a score of 8-4 on Saturday. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.
Jake Hargrove looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024.
