Volleyball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richland Royals. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in August of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Richland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irving will square off against Denton at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Richland, they will challenge South Grand Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
