Basketball Game Preview: Mountain View Prep Stars vs. Pendleton Bulldogs

The Mountain View Prep Stars will square off against the Pendleton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mountain View Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Carolina Academy on Saturday. The Stars claimed a resounding 65-14 win over the Trojans.

Zaylen Washington and Ma'Ori Henderson were among the main playmakers for Mountain View Prep as the former posted 16 points and five steals and the latter went 7-for-10 en route to 15 points. Harris Brown was another key player, putting up eight points along with six assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Pendleton hadn't done well against Wade Hampton recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 52-36 victory over the Generals.

The win got Mountain View Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Pendleton, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
