Sheridan had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Taylor on Tuesday. The Blackhawks were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Titans. The  victory was nothing new for the Blackhawks as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sheridan took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14,  25-14.
 Lainey Mendenhall paced Sheridan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mendenhall got some help from  Adria Jump and her 17 assists. Jump was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with nine aces.
Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Taylor,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Looking ahead, Sheridan will be playing in front of their home fans against Carroll  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Taylor, they will venture away from home to  face off against Peru  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
