After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allen, McKinney was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Princeton Panthers 62-27 on the road. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 30.4 points per game.

Jeremiah Daoud was his usual excellent self, throwing for 429 yards and six touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Another player making a difference was Khristian Mackintrush, who picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
