Baseball Game Preview: Orrville Red Riders vs. Northwest Indians

For the second straight game, Orrville will face off against Northwest. The Red Riders will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Orrville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Northwest on Monday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 7-1.

For Northwest's part, Sean Ritchey and Zander Roncaglione did most of the damage at the plate: Ritchey went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Roncaglione earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. That RBI was Roncaglione's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Branded Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

The win got Northwest back to even at 4-4. As for Orrville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
