West Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Ellensburg Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday.

Ellensburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Selah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ellensburg, they will welcome Prosser at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will give Ellensburg their first taste of in-conference action this season.
