Basketball Recap: Wiscasset Takes a Loss

Wiscasset lost against Valley back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wiscasset Wolverines were outmatched by the Valley Cavaliers and fell 69-38. The loss was the Wolverines' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wiscasset fell to 2-1. As for Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Wiscasset won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Vinalhaven at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vinalhaven has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Valley will take on Carrabec in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
